My name is Ms. Shawnie and I am the Assistant Director at Skipwith Huguenot. I received my High School Diploma at Highland Springs High School. I am currently in school at Brightpoint Community College expanding my knowledge into Early Childhood Education. Childcare is a career that I am truly passionate about. Seeing the joy and brightness in the kids can truly change one’s day. I’ve also worked as a One on One Behavioral Aid as well. Working with children on the spectrum may me challenging for some but for me it was truly something I enjoyed doing. I can truly say I’ve had my fair share of jobs but most importantly I found my passion which is Childcare. The one thing I love about my job is giving the parents a piece of mind knowing that their child is in good hands.
